From the Upper Peninsula, building for the long run
I came up writing code and moved into running the systems it depends on: servers, networks, identity, security, vendors, and budgets. Seeing both sides changed how I work. I build systems I would be willing to run at two in the morning.
I live on the Michigan and Wisconsin border, in the Menominee and Marinette area. In 2025 I founded Blue Devil Development to build web applications, ecommerce platforms, and cloud tools for small and mid-sized businesses across the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin.
Four rules run everything I build: code quality over velocity, documentation by default, security first, and honest communication. The last one is why every number on this site has a source.
